SHORT LECTURE IN SPANISH

“The celestial man”

Teresa Ayala (Mexico)

The septenary classification, shown in the light of Theosophy, is not a technical vision. It is an arcane philosophical and scientific teaching that teaches us what man is, positioning him right in his place, with all potential that is not abstract but concrete and possible, allowing you to access the “Cosmic Man.”

The question is how? In this brief talk we will try to explain the perspective of Blavatsky whose sustenance is the tradition inherited by a long series of Rishis and Seers of the races that have preceded us and of which she herself has formed part.

Eneida Carbonell (USA)

ENGLISH: “Madame Blavatsky a fervent Mother Teacher of Theosophy”

Description:  We will examine some of the most relevant and valid teachings and doctrines of Theosophy that Madame Blavatsky emphasized as fundamental in order to better understand the nature of man and the universe, its origins and its destiny as well as the role that man could fulfill in the evolutionary progress of humanity.  We will also consider some of the most distinguished qualities that HPB displayed, the intrepid courage, altruism, and the faith and confidence in humanity’s future; and that is why she is the fervent Mother Teacher of Theosophy.

Day 3: Lecture “Theosophical Resilience and the Mind of a Master”

Butterfly
Introduced by

Barbara Hebert (USA)

“Theosophical Resilience and the Mind of a Master”

Kurt Leland (USA)

Description: Living under pandemic conditions has been a great challenge to the inner life. The same thing could be said for any tragic or catastrophic circumstance that occurs in our personal, regional, national, or international life, from illness and death to famine, warfare, and repressive political regimes, from floods and earthquakes to habitat destruction, pollution, and climate change. How do we address the inner and outer challenges posed by such circumstances? Theosophical literature abounds in hints of how to establish and maintain resilience in troubled times. But out most powerful tool may be a description by Annie Besant of the mind of a Master and the qualities of ideal resilience it suggests.

SHORT LECTURE IN SPANISH

“H. P. Blavatsky sobre las Escalas de la Conciencia”
“H.P. Blavatsky on the Scales of Consciousness”

Pablo Sender (USA)

ENGLISH: “HP Blavatsky on the Scales of Consciousness”

During her life in London, Blavatsky formed an “inner group” of devoted and committed students, to whom she gave more in-depth information about spiritual practice. One of these teachings involves the different scales of mental consciousness from which a person can act, ranging from the mechanical reaction of the lower mind to the spiritual perception of the higher mind. In this talk, Pablo Sender explores the different scales of consciousness and how to ascend through them

SHORT LECTURE IN SPANISH

“Que esta reencarnación valga la pena”
“A worthy reincarnation”

Ariel Tarazaga (Argentina)

ENGLISH: “A worthy reincarnation”

Madame Blavatsky has left an invaluable legacy for those who wish to travel a path that is nothing more than a simple sequence of classic milestones, repeated over and over again throughout history of mankind. One of the great things about her teachings, as with any sage’s teachings, is that they adapt to all levels of human understanding. Hence, it is all individuals who can prove themselves, who can stand on the edge of a story that challenges any of their comfort zones, who can evaluate method and intensity that their self-nature requires, and, finally, who can decide how far and meaningful their journeys can be. She has left us hints, suggestions, and her shining example of a life filled with sacred service to ideals beautiful enough to produce rapture in a sensitive nature.

Day 2: Lecture “Seek Out the Way: Experiential Reflections on the Inner Life”

LECTURE

“Seek Out the Way: Experiential Reflections on the Inner Life”

Juliana Cesano (USA)

Without challenge there is no significant growth. In the ebb and flow of retreating within and boldly advancing without, by many trials and errors, the inner light slowly awakens. As life aids us to shed layer after layer of what we are not, glimpses of the timeless Self that we have always been, begin to reveal. This moment by moment experience hides secrets that are seen when we live in the presence of a loving silence, a silence that arises in the conscious disengaging from the irresistible mental habit to take shape: defining, becoming, separating. It is in the skillful combination of applied knowledge, deep listening, and a growing receptivity to inner guidance, that we may experience the esoteric, the Truth that is hidden in plain sight and closer to us than we ever dreamed possible.
